Job summary

National Staffing Solutions-Therapy is seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) for a 13-week assignment in Macomb, Illinois. The role offers 40 hours per week, weekday shifts, and ASAP start to support a skilled nursing facility.

The OT will plan and conduct individualized therapy programs, help patients perform daily activities, teach use of adaptive equipment, and document progress in a nursing home setting. A state license, OT degree, and current BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Occupational Therapy license / Licensure in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Planning and conducting individualized occupational therapy programs in a nursing home environment.
• Helping patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities.
• Teaching patients skills or techniques on how to use adaptive equipment for participating in activities.
• Studying, evaluating, and recording patients' activities and progress.
