Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in Statesville, NC. The OT should have 1 year of experience, with 6 months considered for exceptional candidates. The role is a 13-week travel assignment with 40 hours per week and 8-hour shifts during the day.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, creating and following treatment plans, and educating families. Must hold BLS and NBCOT-OTR with state licensing.

Qualifications

• 1 year of OT experience; 6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates.
• Must have BLS and NBCOT-OTR with state licensing.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history and observe tasks.
• Evaluate condition and needs of patients.
• Develop and implement a treatment plan with goals and activities.
• Assist patients with daily living activities.
• Assess home or workplace for safety and accommodations.
• Educate family and employer on care requirements.
• Instruct on equipment use.
• Document progress for evaluations and reporting.
