Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Mashpee, MA. The OT will evaluate patients, develop plans of care, and implement treatments in an acute care setting, with 40 hours per week and 8-hour days.

Requirements include at least 6 months of OT experience (1 year preferred), BLS, NBCOT-OTR, and state licensing. Travel positions involve documentation and collaboration with care teams.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history and observe tasks to determine needs.
• Evaluate patient condition and develop a plan of care.
• Create treatment plans with specific goals and activities to meet those goals.
• Assist patients with activities and adapt home/work environments as needed.
• Educate family and employers on care and accommodations.
• Recommend equipment and instruct on usage.
• Record patient progress for evaluations, billing and reporting.
