Job summary

Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics is seeking a qualified orthodontic assistant to support doctors across multiple locations. You will assist the orthodontist during treatments, educate patients on elastic therapies, and prepare instruments and materials for procedures.

The role involves taking diagnostic X-Rays, assisting with bonding and debonding, creating retainers and impression trays, and traveling to our CO locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Orthodontic DA experience required.
• RDA license required.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Willing to support multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Orthodontist in treating patient.
• Instruct patient on elastic treatment.
• Prepare tray setups according to doctor preferences.
• Take diagnostic quality X-Rays and attach to chart.
• Mix amalgam, cement; prepare impression materials.
• Pour, trim, and polish impression trays.
• Assist with bonding, banding, debonding orthodontic patients.
• Place and cement bands; set up brackets; remove excess cement.
• Make retainers, bleaching trays, and impressions.
• Provide excellent chairside assistance and anticipate next steps with doctor.
• Take patient initial, progress, and de-bond photos.
• Take scans for clear aligners or models.
• Travel to CO locations.
