Job summary

Cross Country Nurses in Sonora, California is seeking a Travel Surgical Technician for a 13-week assignment in the OR, with 40 hours per week and 10-hour shifts.

You will prepare sterile fields, pass instruments, and support the surgical team in a busy operating room, with CPR/BLS and appropriate credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Education or GED required; Associates or Technical Degree preferred.
• Scrub technician experience and operating room experience or training are preferred.
• Certification as a Surgery Technician is preferred. Must have CPR or BLS certification from an approved vendor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surgical cases by checking supplies and equipment.
• Assemble operative instrumentation and sterile fields; maintain aseptic technique.
• Document surgical data and assist the team during procedures.
