Job Summary:
Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician in a facility providing acute care services. This position involves supporting surgical procedures through equipment preparation, assisting surgeons, and maintaining sterile environments. The role is scheduled for day shifts, with the contract starting on 10/19/2026 and ending on 01/18/2027.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience in surgical technology; certifications including BLS and CST; valid state license or pending license accepted; minimum of 0 years of experience; preferred experience in OR procedures and surgical environments
• Preferred Qualifications: Medical certification such as NBSTS or CST; experience with specific surgical procedures including abdominal, neuro, vascular, robotics, and trauma; certified CST preferred
• Additional Information: Candidates should have experience supporting multiple surgical specialties, including orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular, and trauma. Experience with OR equipment such as microscopes, laparoscopic systems, and robotic surgical systems (e.g., Da Vinci Xi) is preferred. The role requires flexibility to work variable start times, including 7am, 9am, 11am, or 3pm, and willingness to cover night shifts as needed. The assignment involves supporting interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, acute care environment requiring adherence to sterile and safety protocols. Candidates must commit to working three of the five major holidays. Floating between nearby facilities may be required, and refusal to float could impact employment. Orientation involves 40 hours of training prior to starting.
