Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Salem, Virginia, with 40 hours per week and day shifts. This role requires 18 months of Surgical Technologist experience in an acute care setting, a HS diploma or OR technologist training, and BLS plus national certification.

Qualifications

• 18 months of experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting.
• High School Diploma or Completion of accredited Operating Room Technologist course or equivalent training
• BLS Certified and National Certification required
• Must be able to demonstrate dexterity in the use of surgical instruments and knowledge of the step-by-step procedure for various surgical cases

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating rooms for surgical procedures and assist as a team member.
• Operate under supervision and delegate tasks to ensure optimum patient care.
• Communicate with physicians, nurses, and staff to maintain continuity of patient care.
