Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Bangor, Maine. The role focuses on supporting cardiothoracic procedures in a busy CVOR, including CABG, AVR, and MVR, with a start date of 10/27/2026 and a 13-week duration.

You will work 10-hour days (~40 hours per week) with a flexible call schedule. Required credentials include Surg Tech certification and BLS; CST is preferred but not mandatory. Cerner EMR experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Surgical Tech certification or equivalent.
• BLS required; CST preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum 1 year CVOR experience.
• Experience with complex cardiac cases (CABG, AVR, MVR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support cardiothoracic surgeries in a busy CVOR.
• Assist in operating room activities and patient care.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, RN staff, and educators.
• Cover 10-hour day shifts; up to ~40 hours per week with a 4-week cycle.
