Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced Certified Scrub Technician to join our operating room team for a 16-week assignment in acute care. The role involves assisting surgeons across multiple specialties and maintaining a sterile OR environment.

Ideal candidates have NBSTSA, AHA BLS, and travel experience, with CNOR preferred. Be prepared for 10-hour rotating day/evening shifts and potential weekend calls in a Level 1 trauma setting.

Qualifications

• NBSTSA certification is required.
• AHA BLS certification is required; CNOR certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years operating room experience, preferably in a large teaching hospital.
• Travel experience is required.
• Ability to work in a single scrub capacity in CT cases.
• Solid knowledge of various surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during orthopedic, robotic, general, ENT, plastics, and neuro procedures.
• Maintain sterile environment and ensure instruments are prepared and available.
• Float with the OR team and participate in call and weekend shifts.
• Ensure compliance with guidelines and protocols in a Level 1 trauma setting.
