Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking an OR Scrub RN for a travel nursing assignment in Charleston, WV. The role focuses on ophthalmology cases, including cataracts and cornea procedures, with 13 weeks of contract length and 40 hours per week.

Candidate must have 2 years minimum OR experience, be able to scrub and circulate ambulatory surgeries, and meet location-specific requirements. Schedule is 06:45 - 15:15 with late shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum experience as ORT
• Experience in ophthalmology and ability to perform cataract and cornea surgeries independently
• Able to scrub and circulate ambulatory surgery procedures

Responsibilities

• Assist in ophthalmology surgeries such as cataracts and corneal procedures independently.
• Scrub and circulate for various ambulatory procedures in the operating room.
• Adhere to hospital and unit-specific protocols during surgeries.
• Participate in call rotations, including weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts, responding within 30 minutes.
• Float to other surgical departments as needed.
• Follow scrubs dress code and attend hospital orientation, then orient with staff in OR Suites.
