Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN Scrub/Circulator for a day-shift assignment in West Virginia, with ophthalmology surgery experience and call availability.

Active WV RN license, BLS certification, and a minimum of 2 years as an ORT are required. You must scrub and circulate for cataract and cornea procedures, and be willing to travel with housing and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Active WV RN license required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Minimum 2 years of ORT experience.
• Ophthalmology experience including cataract and cornea procedures.
• Must be able to scrub and circulate for ambulatory surgery.

Responsibilities

• Operate in an OR with 6 surgical suites and about 22 cases per day.
• Work in an acute care setting using Epic EMR.
• Perform scrub and circulator duties in ophthalmology-focused OR.
• Day shift Mon–Fri, 0645–1515 with possible extension to complete cases.
• Rotate to other surgical departments as needed.
