Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in York, Pennsylvania. The position is a 13-week assignment, demanding a single 8-hour daytime shift and a travel employment type.

The Operating Room RN will prepare the OR, manage equipment, and collaborate with the surgical team to deliver safe, patient-centered perioperative care at a facility in York, PA.

Qualifications

• Required qualifications include one year of Operating Room RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred: ACLS/PALS/ENPC, CNOR and other certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room and equipment for procedures.
• Positions and prepares patients for surgery.
• Maintains sterile field and follows infection control protocols.
• Assists with instruments and supplies to ensure efficient workflow.
• Documents patient care in perioperative setting.
• Participates in pre- and post-operative handoffs to ensure continuity of care.
