Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Tucson, AZ. This role offers 40 hours per week with an evenings shift in a facility setting, requiring a current RN license and BLS.

You will join a dedicated clinical team and enjoy competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. The OR RN will prepare the operating room, assist with patient care, maintain sterile technique, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure high-quality perioperative

Qualifications

One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

Prepares the operating room by ensuring instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies are ready for each procedure.
Assists in positioning and preparing patients for surgery, ensuring comfort and safety.
Maintains a sterile field and adheres to infection control protocols during procedures.
Monitors patient condition during surgery and documents significant changes for the surgeon.
Documents all aspects of perioperative patient care and participates in postoperative handoffs.
