Responsibilities

• Provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care before, during, and after surgery.
• Act as patient educator, circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse.
• Handle and prepare operating instruments within the sterile field or work outside the sterile field.
