Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel assignment in Tucson, Arizona. This 13-week contract features 40 hours per week with 10-hour night shifts in the OR, requiring an active RN license and BLS.

Candidates should have prior OR experience, travel nursing preferred, and be eligible for a current state license (or compact license). On-call responsibilities apply, with robotic experience a plus. Housing and full benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Prior travel RN experience preferred.
• Two years of OR nursing experience is required.
• Temporary/interim RN license or compact licensure acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative care in the operating room, including preparing the patient and assisting during surgery.
• Ensure patient safety throughout the perioperative period.
• Work with surgical specialties including general, gynecology, orthopedic, podiatry, and urology; robotic experience preferred.
• On-call shifts are included with rotation details.
