Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in York, PA. The role focuses on robotic surgeries in a Level I Trauma setting, supporting multiple surgical specialties in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in trauma care, travel experience, an active RN license, and proficiency with Da Vinci Xi robotics. This 13-week contract requires 40 hours/week with 4x10 hour shifts (07:00–17:30) and 2 of 3 major holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Level I Trauma setting preferred.
• Previous travel experience required.
• Active RN license; no license hits accepted.
• Proficiency with the Da Vinci Xi robot; familiarity with the DV5 is a plus.
• Completion of EKG exam within 72 hours of signing contract.
• AHA or ARC certifications only.

Responsibilities

• Function independently in multiple surgical specialties including Robotics, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, and Thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart surgery).
• Scrub and circulate for various procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and adherence to safety protocols.
• Manage patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Respond to calls as needed, with 2–3 calls within a 6-week matrix.
• Provide exceptional care to COVID-19 patients as needed.
