Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel assignment in Salem, Virginia. The role supports a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, typically 12-hour day shifts in a hospital OR setting.

Requirements include 2+ years of RN experience, OR specialty, and proficiency with robotic systems (DaVinci). Strong ortho/trauma, cranial, and complex procedures are valued, with hospital readiness to support travel clinicians.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of RN experience.
• Experience in a level II or higher facility preferred.
• Proficient in Ortho trauma, Crani’s, Burr holes, Robotic general (Appy, Lap Chloe) Cystoscopy, ENT, Total Joints.

Responsibilities

• Procedures performed on unit include cystoscopy, lumbar laminectomy, total joints, robotic general surgery, robotic GYN, ENT, minor plastic surgeries, and breast surgeries.
• Coordinate patient care in a high-volume OR with phantom staffing and equipment.
• Maintain readiness for DaVinci robotics and trauma cases.
