MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, IA seeks experienced Registered Nurse for FirstChoice mobile staffing. This part-time role involves floating across hospital locations and regions, applying nursing process steps, and delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
• Valid RN licensure in the applicable state(s).
• Minimum 18 months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience for Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
• Credentials per specialty area (e.g., ACLS, TNCC). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple locations/regions.
• Demonstrate standard nursing processes: Assess, Outcome Identification, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
• Act independently within license and scope of practice.
