Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Operating Room travel nurse (RN) for Appleton, WI. The OR RN may work as circulating nurse, scrub nurse, and possibly RN first assistant, with 1–2 years acute care experience preferred. 40 hours weekly, 8‑hour shifts, travel assignment.

Requirements include BLS, ACLS, PALS and a minimum of 3 years in related roles. Immediate start with competitive benefits and tax-free stipends to be determined. This is a travel position with TotalMed RN.

Qualifications

• RN with OR experience (circulating or scrub) in acute care preferred.
• Eligible for RN licensure in Wisconsin.
• Required BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications prior to assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative patient care including monitoring and communication with the team.
• Assist physicians and staff in planning and delivering surgical care.
• Ensure correct procedures and patient safety in the OR.
• Educate patients and families about perioperative care and home recovery.
