TotalMed RN is seeking an OR Travel Nurse for an immediate opening in Arcata, CA. This travel assignment requires 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, with 10-hour days. Roles include circulating nurse, scrub nurse, and RN first assistant with 1–2 years acute care experience.

Responsibilities cover perioperative patient care, instrument handling, and intraoperative support. BLS and California RN license are required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license
• 1-2 years of acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurse
• BLS required
• Travel assignment of 13 weeks with 40 hours/week

Responsabilités

• Assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery education to patients.
• Handle instruments and equipment per role (circulating/scrub/first assistant).
• Ensure correct procedures are performed and document medications administered.
• Communicate with families and operating team.
