TotalMed is seeking a travel nurse OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Chardon, Ohio.

The role requires 1-2 years of acute care experience as a circulating nurse, scrub nurse, or RN first assistant. You will support physicians, provide perioperative care, and manage instrument handling, patient education, and post-operative care. The assignment runs for 13 weeks at 40 hours per week with 10-hour days.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurse, potentially RN first assistant.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be needed.
• Travel nursing assignment in OR with 10-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and education to patients and families.
• Prepare instruments, monitor patient during surgery, and manage equipment.
