Job summary

TotalMed RN in Cleveland, OH seeks an OR - Operating Room travel nurse for a 13-week assignment. The role requires 40 hours per week, with 8-hour days. This travel position expects prior OR experience and flexibility to work in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurses, and/or RN first assistants, plus active BLS/ACLS/PALS credentials. Benefits include weekly pay and a tax-free stipend where applicable.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years acute care OR experience as circulating or scrub nurse, and/or RN first assistant.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• 3 years RN experience in OR-related settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Administer prescribed medications and record administrations.
• Communicate with patients’ families and OR staff.
• Ensure correct procedure is performed on the correct patient.
• Initiate patient education for medication and home care.
