TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Newburgh, Indiana. The role supports OR teams as a circulating nurse, scrub nurse, or RN first assistant, with 13-week duration and 40 hours weekly on 10-hour day shifts.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of acute care experience and an Indiana RN license with BLS. You’ll perform perioperative duties, teach patients and families, and help ensure safe, effective surgical care during travel assignments.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience as circulating nurse, scrub nurse, or RN first assistant.
• Active RN license in Indiana.
• BLS certification required.
• Willingness to travel for assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and OR staff with surgical cases.
• Provide pre- and post-operative patient care and education.
• Maintain sterile field and manage instruments.
• Monitor patient status and respond to complications.
• Document medications and procedures.
