Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks an OR Travel Nurse (RN) for Ocala, FL, to support surgical teams in the operating room. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience as a circulating or scrub nurse, with potential RN First Assistant duties.

Expect 12-hour shifts, days, and a 13-week assignment. Responsibilities include bedside care, medication administration, patient education, and coordination with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience as circulating nurse or scrub nurse, and potential RN First Assistant.
• Certifications ACLS and BLS are preferred prior to assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and assist during surgical procedures.
• Administer and document prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
• Serve as liaison between patient families and the operating team.
