Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with instruments, equipment and sterile supplies for each procedure.
• Assist in positioning and prepping patients for surgery.
• Maintain a sterile field and follow infection control procedures.
• Anticipate team needs and supply instruments and materials promptly.
• Monitor patient condition during surgery and document significant changes.
• Handle instruments and supplies with proper sterilization and disposal.
