Job summary

TotalMed RN in Omaha, NE is seeking an OR travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week. The role includes circulating, scrub, and potential RN first assistant duties in the operating room.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurse, with BLS certification. Travel experience is preferred and a tax-free stipend may apply.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• 1-2 years acute care experience as circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse.
• RN first assistant role possible.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and education.
• Circulating OR Nurses monitor patient during surgery.
• Scrub OR Nurses handle instruments and supplies.
• RN First Assistant may assist by delivering direct surgical care.
