Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Bellevue, NE. This role requires ongoing perioperative patient care, sterile technique, and collaboration with the surgical team to ensure safety and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS (AHA/ARC), PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications (preferred).
• OR Nursing Certification (CNOR) (preferred).
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room with required instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies.
• Positions and prepares patients for surgery, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintains a sterile field and adheres to infection control and sterile technique.
• Anticipates needs of the surgical team; provides instruments and supplies.
• Monitors patient condition during surgery and notifies the surgeon of changes.
• Documents all perioperative patient care accurately and thoroughly.
• Performs handoff communication during pre- and post-operative phases.
