Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Operating Room RN for a 13-week assignment in Abilene, Texas. The role requires 1 year of OR RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with instruments and sterile supplies for each procedure
• Assist in positioning patients and ensuring comfort and safety for surgery
• Maintain sterile field and follow infection control protocols
• Assist the surgical team by providing instruments and supplies as needed
• Document perioperative care and patient status accurately
• Support handoffs between pre- and post-operative phases to ensure continuity of care
