Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an OR Travel Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Columbia, MD. The role involves OR nursing, circulating/scrub duties, and possible RN first assistant tasks. Requires 1-2 years of acute care experience; ACLS/BLS/PALS and other certs may be needed.

Travel position offers 40 hours weekly, 8-hour nights shifts, and a tax-free stipend potential. Eligible candidates should be prepared for hospital OR environments and patient education responsibilities.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required.
• 2 years of acute care or OR experience preferred.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
