Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Attleboro, MA. You’ll join a clinical team delivering perioperative care, maintaining safety, and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes. Start date 09/28/2026 with 40 hours/week and day shifts.

The role emphasizes OR preparedness, infection control, and collaboration with the surgical team to support patient-centered care and efficient turnover.

Qualifications

• One year of recent OR RN experience.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS or PALS or ENPC certifications (preferred).
• CNOR or other OR certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room with instruments and sterile supplies for procedures.
• Position and prepare patients for surgery ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintain sterile field and follow infection control protocols.
• Provide instruments and supplies promptly to keep workflow efficient.
• Monitor patient status during surgery and document changes.
• Handle instruments, sterilization, and disposal per policy.
• Document care in the perioperative setting accurately.
• Assist in handoff communication pre- and post-operatively.
• Restock and clean operating room between cases following protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure policy compliance.
