Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. You will support the OR team, perform circulating or scrub duties, and assist in educating patients pre- and post-surgery. This travel assignment runs for 13 weeks with 40 hours per week on 10-hour days.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience as circulating or scrub RN and possibly RN First Assistant. ACLS/BLS are required; other certifications may be needed.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 3 years acute care experience.
• Experience as circulating/scrub RN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and education.
• Monitor patient during surgery and manage intraoperative communications.
