Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Columbus, Ohio. The OR RN will prepare the operating room, assist with patient positioning, and maintain sterile technique while supporting a high standard of patient safety.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room with instruments and supplies for each procedure.
• Assists in patient positioning and preparation for surgery while prioritising safety.
• Maintains a sterile field and adheres to infection control protocols throughout procedures.
• Monitors patient condition intraoperatively and communicates changes to the surgeon.
• Documents care and participates in patient handoffs pre- and post-operatively.
• Restocks and cleans the operating room between cases per protocol.
