Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a travel nurse RN for the Operating Room in Columbus, GA. This assignment focuses on circulating or scrub roles with 12-week terms and 40 hours per week, typically on 10-hour shifts across days.

Travel experience and ACLS/BLS are preferred as you support surgical teams in a fast-paced environment. As an OR Travel Nurse, you will assist physicians, manage perioperative care, and ensure patient safety before, during, and after procedures.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience as circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and education to patients and families.
• Perform circulating or scrub duties as assigned; ensure instrument readiness and infection control.
