Job summary

TotalMed is seeking an OR Travel Nurse in Redding, CA to support the operating room for a 13-week assignment at 40 hours per week. This role includes circulating, scrubbing, and potential RN First Assistant duties, with day shifts and travel benefits.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of acute care experience, ACLS and BLS, and a commitment to patient education and teamwork in a fast-paced OR setting.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurse.
• RN license and active certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and education to patients.
• Perform circulating/scrub RN duties and assist RN First Assistant as needed.
• Monitor patient during surgery and respond to complications.
