Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse in Las Cruces, NM for an OR - Operating Room assignment. This RN will work 40 hours per week, with 8-hour day shifts, for a 13-week duration as a travel position.

The circulating nurse is responsible for patient safety, documentation, workflow coordination and sterile field support during surgical procedures. NM fingerprints are required for travelers; BLS is required and ACLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of OR nursing experience required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Fingerprints for NM travelers required.

Responsibilities

• Circulating nurse assists with patient safety, documentation, workflow, and sterile field.
• Provide 24/7 call coverage shared among the OR nurses.
• Maintain sterile technique and support during procedures.
