Job summary

Mountainview RMC in Las Cruces, NM is seeking an experienced Travel OR RN for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP. Days shift 6:30a-7p, Mon Tue Fri, with call and holiday coverage.

The Circulator Nurse performs perioperative nursing across multiple specialties, coordinates care, maintains sterile technique, and collaborates with surgeons and staff to ensure patient safety and efficient surgical workflow.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience required
• BLS required
• ACLS preferred
• General, Ortho, OBGYN, Robotics, Urology, Hand, Podiatry experience required

Responsibilities

• The circulating nurse in the OR is responsible for patient safety, documentation, workflow coordination and sterile field support during surgical procedures.
• Call requirement: Split amongst the nurses for unit coverage 24/7
• Option to work 48 hrs. Week
• Scrubs: Hospital Laundered and Available
• EMR: Medhost, PICIS
• No floating required
• The Operating Room Circulator Nurse provides comprehensive perioperative nursing care across a broad range of surgical specialties within a Level III Trauma facility. This role is responsible for coordinating and managing patient care throughout the intraoperative phase, ensuring patient safety, maintaining regulatory compliance, and facilitating efficient surgical workflow.
