Qualifications

• RN with current state license.
• Minimum 1 year in OR/acute care in a hospital setting.
• Appropriate certifications and licensure as needed for the position.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments and other medical care.
• Monitor and document patient condition and communicate with the care team, physician, patient and family.
• Coordinate patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharge, referrals and psychosocial support.
• Provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
