Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room and ensures instruments and supplies are ready and sterile.
• Positions patients for surgery and maintains patient safety and comfort.
• Maintains a sterile field and adheres to infection control protocols.
• Delivers instruments and supports the surgical team for efficient workflow.
• Monitors patient condition during surgery and documents changes.
• Documents perioperative care and facilitates patient handoffs.
