Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Boston, MA. The OR RN will prepare the operating room, assist in patient positioning, maintain sterile technique, and support the surgical team to ensure high-quality perioperative care.

The role requires a valid RN license, 1 year OR experience, and current BLS. Preferred qualifications include ACLS/PALS/ENPC, CNOR, and other certifications.

Qualifications

• One year of recent OR RN experience.
• Valid RN license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS / PALS / ENPC certifications preferred.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room with instruments, equipment and sterile supplies.
• Assists in positioning patients for surgery and ensures safety and comfort.
• Maintains a sterile field and follows infection control protocols.
• Provides instruments and support to the surgical team to maintain workflow.
• Monitors patient condition during surgery and reports changes to the surgeon.
• Handles surgical instruments and ensures proper sterilization and disposal.
