Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel OR RN for a 13-week assignment in Billings, MT. The RN will prepare the OR, assist with patient positioning, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safety and high-quality perioperative care.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of OR RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS. Preferred certifications may be considered for advancement and extended opportunities with Fusion Medical Staffing.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room by ensuring tools and sterile supplies are ready.
• Positions and prepares patients for surgery for safety and comfort.
• Maintains a sterile field and follows infection control procedures.
• Provides instruments and supplies promptly to maintain workflow.
• Monitors patient condition and communicates changes to the surgeon.
• Documents perioperative care accurately and thoroughly.
