Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel nurse RN in OR for a Bangor, ME assignment. The position is travel, 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, days, with 8-hour shifts.

The OR RN will support perioperative care, prepare the operating room, assist with patient positioning, maintain sterile technique, and collaborate with the surgical team. Required: 1 year OR RN experience, valid ME RN license, and BLS; ACLS/PALS/CNOR preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS, PALS or ENPC preferred; CNOR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room and ensures instruments and supplies are ready.
• Assists in positioning patients and maintaining sterile technique.
• Monitors patient condition and documents perioperative care.
• Collaborates with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and efficiency.
