Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a registered nurse for an Operating Room position at an Ambulatory Surgery Center in Kentucky. KY or compact RN license and BLS certification are required. ADN/ASN is required with BSN preferred; no prior experience is required though ASC/OR background is a plus.

The role offers day shifts, 8-hour shifts, and a 32-hour guarantee with potential early release after cases complete. Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted KY or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• No prior experience required, ASC/OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in an ambulatory surgery center (ASC) within the General Surgery department
• Day shift schedule, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
• 32-hour guarantee with possible early release once cases are completed for the day
• Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting, including assessments, treatments, and care coordination
• Collaborate with an inter-professional healthcare team to implement individualized treatment plans
• Facilitate patient and family education and support discharge planning processes
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures
• Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility; local candidates accepted at a lower rate
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
