Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Powell, Tennessee. The role involves perioperative patient care, room preparation, and collaboration with the surgical team to ensure safety and quality throughout the perioperative process.

Required are 1 year of OR RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS certification. Preferred are OR certifications such as CNOR and additional credentials to support travel assignments.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room and equipment for each procedure.
• Assists in positioning and preparing patients for surgery.
• Maintains sterile field and follows infection control protocols.
• Documents perioperative care and handoffs for continuity of care.
• Collaborates with the surgical team to ensure safety and quality.
