Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing in Crestview, FL is seeking a travel nurse RN for an OR - Operating Room travel assignment. This 13-week role requires 40 hours per week, with dayshift schedules on an 8-hour rotation.

The OR RN will support perioperative care, prepare the OR, assist with positioning, maintain sterile technique, and collaborate with the surgical team to deliver high-quality patient care. Travel benefits and robust support are provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent OR RN experience is required.
• Valid RN license in Florida and current BLS certification.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating room equipment and sterile supplies for procedures.
• Assist in patient positioning and ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control throughout cases.
• Support the surgical team with instruments and turnover between cases.
• Document perioperative patient care and handoffs accurately.
