Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an OR Travel Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Duluth, MN. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurse, with BLS/ACLS. You’ll support surgical teams with pre- and post-operative care and patient education.

The travel position features 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, and a tax-free stipend; duties include instrument handling, patient monitoring, and collaboration with physicians to ensure safe procedures. Benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of acute care experience as circulating nurse or scrub nurse; RN First Assistant considered.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Passion for patient safety and teamwork in the OR.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and OR staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care and patient education.
• Handle instruments and equipment; ensure correct procedures and patient identity.
• Serve as liaison between patient families and the operating team.
