Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a travel OR RN to support operating room services in Duluth, MN. The position is a 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week, 12-hour days. The RN will function as an OR circulating or scrub nurse and may serve as RN first assistant where needed.

Requirements include BLS and ACLS, plus 1–2 years of recent acute care experience. The role involves patient care before, during, and after surgery and requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience as circulating nurse, and/or scrub nurse, and potentially RN first assistant.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and education to the patient.
• Support circulating and scrub roles during procedures.
• Monitor patient during surgery and respond to complications.
