Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an OR Travel Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Austell, GA. The RN will work 8-hour day shifts, supporting circulating and scrub roles with potential RN first assisting. Requires 1–2 years acute care experience and BLS/ACLS.

Expect travel duties, PPE, and rapid onboarding. As an OR Travel Nurse, you will assist physicians, deliver perioperative care, and educate patients pre- and post-surgery.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience as circulating or scrub RN.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional certifications may be needed.
• RN license active and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Prepare, administer and document prescribed medications and report adverse reactions.
• Act as liaison between patient family and operating room staff.
• Ensure correct procedures are performed for each patient.
• Initiate patient education per physician instructions for home care.
