Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking an experienced OR RN for a travel assignment in Chicago. Circulating and scrub responsibilities are required in a fast-paced surgical unit with a 6-bed OR, covering general, GYN, urology, ENT, vascular, spinal, dental cases.

The role includes an 0645 start, 40 hours per week, and on-call duties 2-3 times per week plus one weekend per month; EPIC EMR is used for documentation and Pyxis/Alaris systems are in use.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience required
• Must be able to circulate in ENT and Orthopedic cases
• Scrub experience required
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Candidate must provide middle name/initial, date of birth, and last 4 digits of SSN for consideration
• At least one professional reference dated within the last year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN required

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub for a variety of surgical procedures including general, GYN, urology, ENT, vascular, spinal, and dental cases
• 8-hour day shift schedule with a 0645am start time, 40 standard hours per week
• No RN floating required
• On-call responsibilities include availability 2-3 times per week and one weekend call per month
• Weekend call consists of 12 hours Saturday and 12 hours the following Sunday, occurring every 5 weeks
• Uses EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, and Pyxis medication dispensing system
