Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. The travel RN will collaborate with a clinical team to provide perioperative care, ensure patient safety, and follow hospital policies.

The role requires one year of OR RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS; ACLS/PALS/ENPC and CNOR are preferred qualifications. 40 hours per week, days shift, travel assignment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Operating Room RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS/PALS/ENPC certifications are preferred.
• CNOR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with instruments and supplies for each procedure.
• Assist in patient positioning, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintain a sterile field and follow infection control protocols.
• Anticipate team needs and provide instruments and supplies promptly.
• Document patient care and perioperative activities accurately.
• Support handoff communication during pre- and post-operative phases.
