Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel assignment in Glendale, Arizona. This role requires 18 months of Acute Care Surgery experience, an active RN license, and a nursing degree.

You will work 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts, with travel and housing support, weekly pay, and benefits including health insurance and per diems. Our client facilities value skilled perioperative care and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical patient care before, during, and after surgery.
• Serve as patient educator, circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse.
• Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field.
• Scrub OR nurses handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field.
